The Journey Behind the Message

I survived a hemorrhagic stroke. I cared for my mother through Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease. I built a leadership career in Employment Law and Compliance. And along the way, I discovered the truth that changed everything: even the strongest people need support.
Through my books, my podcast, my speaking, and the resources I build, I help others find hope, resilience, and purpose — so they never have to carry the weight of their hardest season alone.
For more than two decades I have led people, built teams, and navigated some of the most complex rooms in employment law and organizational leadership. I learned to think clearly under pressure, to advocate for people who didn't have a voice, and to build cultures where dignity is non-negotiable. That work shaped me professionally — but my deepest lessons came from a very different classroom: real life.
I survived a hemorrhagic stroke that rearranged everything I thought I knew about strength. While I was still relearning my own body, I was also caring for my mother through Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease — sitting with the long goodbye, the hidden grief, the quiet sacrifices no one sees. Those years taught me that strength is not carrying every burden alone. Strength is letting yourself be held — by faith, by community, by hope — long enough to heal.
Today I write, speak, podcast, and build resources for the people who hold everyone else together. Through books, The Moments That Matter with Dr. Marcy podcast, leadership development, faith-rooted teaching, and stories of resilience, my work exists to encourage, equip, and inspire — so that no one walks through their hardest season convinced they have to do it alone.
Author. Speaker. Leadership and Employment Law & Compliance Executive. Stroke survivor. Caregiver advocate. Founder of A. Haus Kornerstone and the Mind and Motion Alliance. Most of all — a woman of faith who believes our hardest chapters are not the end of the story. They are often the beginning of our purpose.
"Strength is not about carrying every burden alone. It's about allowing ourselves to receive support, hope, and healing — and trusting God with the rest."

To encourage, equip, and inspire — through books, speaking, the podcast, leadership development, faith, and stories of resilience — so that every reader, listener, and audience member discovers renewed strength, lasting hope, and the courage to embrace the life God has called them to live.
Sometimes hope is spoken. Sometimes it is written. Sometimes it is sung.
This music is another expression of my faith and my mission to encourage, strengthen, and remind others that even in life's darkest seasons, God is still bringing new life.

Marcy D. Worship
Intentional (Resurrected Life) was written from a place of resilience — a song shaped by survival, surrender, and the quiet, steady miracle of God restoring what once felt broken. It is a worship offering to the One who resurrects hope, renews purpose, and brings new beginnings out of every ending.
